I get how bad rape is but let me just say this to literally everyone commenting about it:
1. Its a shame this seems to be a common occurence in omegaverse mangas, but the reality is, its what sells and its what many people will happily read.
2. Whether you hate it or not, it still exists and rather than thanking the uploader at least for their time and money, you only complain.
3. Yes, fiction doesnt exempt it from being wrong, I agree, but first of all, this manga is based around consipiring, fraud and all that gritty shit, what did you expect, secondly, the omega guy is a shitty person too and lastly, this is a VERY common occurence in yaoi so one should be fairly desensitised to it at this point, you ARE reading YAOI you know. That in its self isnt the most "saint' thing is it. Ill probably get a lot of hate from this but i hope at least some people agree

If you're aware that the omega doesn't deserve it because he's a bad person, then why even mention that at all?
Just because something is common doesn't mean people should just get over it. Sexual Assault and rape is very common, so should people be desensitized? Absolutely not.
People are free to respond to a work of art however they want. We're not dissing the uploader at all, they followed through in providing chapters and I have no beef with them. It's the author that I'm expressing concerns with.
Yaoi being non-saintly (whatever it is you mean by that) doesn't have anything to do with the problem at hand, because there are many mangakas who handle subjects like this in an appropriate manner or can avoid it all together.

I never said people should 'just get over it' nor did i say that rape and sexual assualt in general should be something people should be desensitised to. Desensitized doesnt mean just accepting it, it means acknowledging that its very common (unfortunately). you are right, people ARE free to respond to a work of art however they want, thats the purpose of it being put out there, I was just noting about how some people took it to themselves to blame the uploader when they had no part in the publication or creation of the work. I also agree with you on the fact that many other yaoi artists have handled subjects like this way better, my purpose behind stating it "was yaoi, afterall' was because of the fact that many would argue the genre in itself is fetishization and therefor goes under a similar bracket of 'wrongness' (but that is a whole other issue one could debate on).
I didn't know that ppl were blaming the uploader, that's just wrong, it's not their fault at all.
I get what you mean about how yaoi can be seen as fetishization. I think that yaoi itself is less fetishization but more the way that people respond to it. A lot of yaoi fans tend to perpetuate a fetishization of mlm relationships and end up being really hurtful.

Most of those comments were further back so you probably didn't see them which isn't your fault. I guess its just immaturity, I hope those people come to later realise. I also agree with you on your view about fetishization of yaoi, its totally up to the viewer and how they react. I don't really agree that at ALL yaoi necessarily have rape in them. yeas it is a very common thing, but again, not all of them.
and yaoi is mostly just loved between two males, doesn't have to include bullshit rape, murder or abuse. but the fact is that many have this is a sad fact. and I hope it will change in the future and that many yaoi will NOT have those bullshit rape, murder and abuse.
has for those who complain, just let people say what they want and what they feel, even if you don't agree with them, they have the right to express themself even if it's dumb.
ok this is a very wholesome and cute manga i loved every moment of it! BUT!! there are some things in the manga I am questioning as to their true meaning and purpose of being there.
At the start, when the two were 'strangers' and sitting in Kazushi's room the TV was speaking about an un-caught suspect of a murder but it got cut out by Higaki becoming drunk and drousy. Later in the scene Higaki says things along the lines of "What if you were a murderer.... and im some wizard too???" Higaki's statement of being a wizard was his way of relating to his 'powers' which we later found to be real.
Which leaves room for the thought that the other half of his drunken babble could be a truth in an abstract way to to him or maybe even kazushi. So that poses the question "who is the "killer" and what did they "kill"?" First I thought a more direct meaning, about how possessive and opposite Kazushi acted around Higaki, exempting him from bullying as a child and acting happy around him and ONLY him, which lead my mind to wonder down more for lack of better words a "yandere' route (possibly killing the girl who broke up with higaki, and calling himself a stalker for repeatedly standing outside of higakis door ect). But, then i took a more metaphorical approach and i loved the way it worked for the story. I think the truth is that Higaki was (in a way) calling himself a murderer in the thought that he erased all memories of himself off Kazushi. Erasing himself was taking the other half of Kazushi's away which he knew could have been worse than death to them both. He was the "killer" or their childhood friendship but had "yet to be caught" because he believed Kazushi truly had forgotten. Anyway at this point im word spewing. I hope i didnt waste yall's time

wait im confused? when did Taker and Suho start dating? Suho's brother kept mentioning it in chaps 18-19 but they only just had their first 'official kiss' in chap 20 AND there hasnt even been a "i like you lets date " scene (or any of the sort) yet either??
It's bc Suho was talking about them (Suho and Taker) sleeping in the same room, despite them having two rooms available.
Haewon assumed they were since they stayed in the same room though they had two available and Taker too didnt seem to dislike the idea of staying together when that fact was revealed.. He also didnt question Suho about it.. Since the two like each other nobody bothered to correct him either..
