just came here from reading Freezing Point. physical change in properties squad where yall at

never really paid much attention to the title but I came to the realisation that in the title "Lonely to Organdy" ("to" meaning "and"), Haruto is Lonely and Akira is Organdy. Haruto was just seeking a friend, a lover a comfort. someone or something to share his passions with. He was lonely. And Akira, while he gave Haruto all these things for a brief period, they were like Organdy. see through, paper thin. They barely counted as existing at all as Akira himself didn't in the "real world". But it didnt make it any less beauitful and soft. going to cry now brb

I keep reading this as "Solo Leveling" on my home page and being like "damn I havent read that in a while I guess the plots changed a lil ╮(￣▽￣)╭" after seeing the cover page BAHAHAH

A Moritat is a medieval version of the murder ballad performed by strolling minstrels in the Threepenny Opera. The word Moritat is German, translating to "street ballad". This song was written about Mackie Messer, a murderer among other things. You might realise the fact that Jesse and Law's names are very muchso more European sounding, this is intentional. here is a brief translated exert:

"There are some who are in darkness,
And the others are in light,
And you see the ones in brightness,
Those in darkness drop from sight.
Though the shark's teeth may be lethal,
Still you see them white and red,
But you won't see Mackie's flick knife,
Cause he slashed you and you're dead."

My gathering from this as a parrallel of the story is that Law takes on the perspective of someone in 'darkness', sharing the story the Moritat tells, and Jesse takes on the role of the more 'bright' and advantaged. Its easy to liken the latter half of the exert to Jesse as well. Everyone views him as dangerous, picky, cold and unpredicable when he is actually very simple. However, that also means that BECAUSE he is so simple, if you slip up even in the slightest, you're a gonner. The fact as well that the song was written to be performed on a stage amongst a Musical Play parrallels the false reality we later find majority of the story out to be. Another important thing to add is that the song was recorded December 19, 1958. December, if you'll notice is seemingly where Jesse and Law spent their majority of time together in the simulation. THIS IS ALL A VERY LOOSE CONNECTION AND BAD EXPLANATION BUT I FELT I HAD TO SHARE ╥﹏╥
