And he is comforting a bestfriend who life was being threatened and the gf was there. If you compare having your bf over (which you could do anytime) or help you best friend and gf get away from an abusive ex who is a threat to there life which one should be more important in that moment. It’s not like he chose his friend over his lover but the situation calls for that. What is he supposed to abandon his friend who life is in danger because he wants to invite his lover over. And he probably thinking of the lover safety even the gf hides just in case someone enters the house the seme is probably trying to tell the uke not to come over because there could be potential danger. The uke misunderstood his lover from the beginning believing in his own paranoia that the seme still loves his friend and he coward into his shell, not once did he tried to trust his lover. He even went as far as ghosting his lover over a misunderstanding. If he was worried why didn’t he confront him, or asked, or complained.
The Seme never lied, cheat or trick the uke. He fell for the uke in the beginning and acted like a normal bf we only saw the uke side but if you think from the seme POV he didn’t do much wrong except for being clueless. Awkward wording is my saying "I know" to my friend when she's saying she doesn't know why her ex broke up with her (I meant that I didn't get it either)... tellinng your lover to "get out" and not contact you for a while is a form of rejection. He didn't have to tell the uke the details but he could have said that his ex and the gf were in a rough situation and needed his help. That's all. He even told the uke it was none of his business when he asked if something was wrong, that kind of wording isn't awkward, it's hiding something. No, he doesn't have to tell his lover everything but he also didn't have to say it like that.
