Everywhere I look, there's extra chapters adn so I happily prance off of cliffs (pun not intended) and smile turns sad so fast when that last chapter mangago pages turns on :'(
The fact that MC gets sleepy all the time really worries me. I know they're passing it off as a quirk now, that we readers assume it's because MC worked too hard in his last life, so now he can relax. It's become part of his personality to be slower and tired in his expressions. Not just physically sleepy but also mentally exhausted. But I'm concerned. That's not a typical symptom. Any good author will have a better explanation for something so heavily foreshadowed, and I'm scared ā„ļ¹ā„
I think I took a wrong turn, can someone help me find the series where MC is a tree doctor, stumbled upon a murder late one night, and is forced to stay with the murderer, pretend to be his lover because he lost his memories? MC looks a lot like this one.

Haven't read it yet but that summary is 1000% giving "I reincarnated, want to follow the story's end happy, but then changed the entire setup and am now shocked that the story's ending changed!"

There was the scene early on where MC said the sky was full of colors and when the buildings touched the colors they disintegrated. I think that was a flashback dream that might have been the world ending, and MC was going to accept her death, but ML didn't allow her. So MC almost dying from the colors in the sky lost her memory and now ML is trying to fabricate a regular earth looking experience, even though he, and others are not actually human anymore.... The world has been completely corrupted
*This is a prediction, there is a novel, but I have not read it. I don't know how the story is going to go. This is just an educated guess
Ngl I normally hate amnesia plots, but series like these are why I can't say I 100% hate anything because when done good, it's hella good. I'm now reading two amnesia plots both kinda similar in vibe. And I think it works because both have a legitimate reason there is amnesia, and a good chunk of mystery because we don't know why yet. I'm camping this one!
For those confused. The close MC is wearing in the last panel is a funeral outfit. Grandpa passed and ML woke up after the funeral ended

Grandpa smarter than we all thought. He knows about MC and ML, I think he knows that ML is keeping Grandpa's vitality high, making ML sick. If ML stops splitting himself between himself and Grandpa, he'll be good. But go grandpa on identifying this issue

Ngl appreciate the male SA awareness in this. I know many women in my life who believe that women can't r*pe men. And granted this has a magic system thing going on, but it's one of the only stories I've seen that has this situation and treats it with the discomfort it deserves.

Lmao I love that stair scene. When ML was carrying MC down the stairs, I was legit thinking that those stairs were dangerous. The fact they showed a mini comic about it is hilarious
