I figured it out. Accepting to run away with him would be the "good ending" but because she declined, she got the bad ending. He's trying to kick her out of her house so they can run away together. Currently with her status as a noble and his as a slave, they can never be together. If she falls, then they can be together. Or if she abandons her position and elopes, which is what he asked earlier
