I bought the last chapters without waiting for bonus points from my club membership because I got impatient. The last chapter skipped a lot of their story. Jerry confessed his feelings and proposed to Ilya in a few sentences. There's a skip to their marriage ceremony and another skip to them being the magic tower's masters together. Feels like the author is saying 'they lived happily ever after'. I need side stories that are longer than the main story.
I come here with high expectations after the prequel and the fl disappointed me immensely. She is a total doormat.
cats reach adulthood at 1 yo and the characters are evolved from them in this universe so I don't get all the comments bringing morality into this.
as a side note, all the sex scenes are repetitive and hurt to look at with the double sfxs in two languages. whenever there was a sex scene I would just read the dialogs and scroll past without focusing on the image.

Considering that the guardian dog was alone for hundreds of years and on the verge of losing himself do some of you really expect him not to do something that saves his life? I have read many stories with rape in them and you have to be fucking crazy if you think that I'm okay with the same things happening in reality. This story was boring and I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone. It has pretty drawings so I think that the mangaka should only draw while someone else writes the story (at least until they improve their storytelling).
The age-gap between MC and Hatano-kun is 2 to 5 years(it's shorter rather than longer but I'm too lazy to look for exact numbers). It's a very basic age-gap that is pretty much unnoticeable as they get older. Boy has been crushing for 8 years so a few more to wear off MC's walls doesn't seem impossible.

Yep yep, this is something I commented about ages ago and did the same maths - 2 years by the least, 5 the most (but shorter is much more likely). That kind of age gap hardly means anything when you're past 20 (at least where I live), and since the manga itself has brought up the fact that Hatano is currently still in high school, I doubt anything serious will happen until he gets to college (which is also typical for this trope in BL from what I've seen).
