Short answer yes. Long answer : your first time won't be fireworks and sparkles for so many reasons but it can definitely be something good if it's with the right person and when you feel ready. In order to make it better and to make sure you have a better experience I would definitely advise you (and anyone who needs it) to learn what feels good......
