I agree as well. I enjoyed it in the beginning. But now it's gotten so convoluted. If it were done more smoothly, it would be good. But the transition from story to story is too choppy. Which makes it confusing.

Okay first the father is crown prince. There's no doubt in it the FATHER IS CROWN PRINCE.He was the one who got Louis pregnant it's not exactly rape cause Louis was drugged and was not exactly in his right mind (It will be revealed later what was he given)
It is not yet revealed who exactly is the muderer (I can't say cause I don't know the language of the raws but it is as much I understood from latest chapter its Duke).
And The Duke has an obsession for Louis.
