I mean Roel's soul was swapped with a weak girl, Sila, and Roel was often mistaken as a male because of her physique and looks. I'm assuming not a lot of people knew her real gender from her time as Roel because she was even addressed as 'Sir Roel'. I believe Julius may have reacted like that because he was either too shocked or felt 'betrayed'. There's another possibility but I can't say for sure that Julius reacted like that because he also believed Roel was a man.
