So there are people who hates the fact that the ML is the scum emperor. I am one of then as well. Right now the lasted novel updates tells you why he is so obsessed with Rosemond. And it's because she uses his trauma of killing his mother? I think against him. Like she comforts him about it and stuff.
Basically, he may have like all the knowledge and stuff to rule the kingdom but his a kid deprived of love at heart.
And I know this doesn't give him any right to be forgiven, especially since he should know that people will use him, even those closes to him because he is the king.
But yeah, he tells the FL lead about his past saying that she wouldn't understand. She doesn't give that much shit about because she wants her family to live.
Anyway, it seems that Rosemond is pulling out a bunch of shit, and ML is in a way in denial that she is a horrible person.... Its confusing because he's fucken indecisive. But yeah.

Actually I am scared everytime the emperor enters her room cuz I don't want him to touch her. So, now may be he thinks that Uncle Pan not only lied to him about everything but also what they went through. Not sure, but this is what came to my mind when I read that.
His reaction was as though Uncle Pan was the only one true to him, beside YuYang who told him that he didn't talking with him just so that he could pay.
And now, the bubble burst. I really want know what Qiu's past was, and why he was labeled "playboy," when other approaches him for his money.
So the manhaw chalter of 49 is missing a thing. When the old man said that he'll head over and heal FL uncles leg, she became enraged at that fact.
