Does the tiger mean the other him? I mean wasn't the tiger like the person who was beside him when he woke up in the bed? Why is he referring to the other him as the tiger? The parallel version is a tiger god, hence why they keep referring to him as a tiger. It was briefly mentioned in the chapter that went through the differences between the two worlds that the mc observed.
The tiger person in the bed was a nightmare/hallucination. At least that's how I read that chapter.
