Just like most of those stories they don’t end divorce for whatever reason
But I feel like this is different only bc she was 12 when she died aka (6th or 7th grade for a better perspective ) and she’s 7 now (4th or 5th grade) at first I was like girl, how do you not have a plan after you get divorced? But this is a kid that was lock up most of their life. so if anything, you go girl, I’ll support you bc you deserve the world. The kid didn’t even reach teenage age, she’s just a baby
Sorry for a wholesome damn essay

Get me a man that won’t go to jail for me but with me
Also
It’s looking like the baby is the black hair dude
But silver hair step up
At least form what I’m reading in the comments
Was he the dad no but he was the dad that step up
Pls author begging you like it be the silver dude pls
Fuck the knot thing

Is it worth it?

The final chapter is 34 so there's not much left.

I didn't translate the final chapters because honestly for me it was a waste of time but Taein chooses Danwoo, he gets marked too but Danwoo is not happy with his job in Korea so he goes in America while Taein stays in Korea and tries to contact Beom-jae who of course he doesn't answer. End.
At least that's how I understood it without translating everything

I didn't translate all the final chapters, just some dialogues but yes, the ending is that Taein chooses Danwoo but doesn't follow him to America so they live apart. Taein says goodbye to him at the airport and then goes home.
It's almost time for the end of the work (chapter 34) so the translations will be out soon to better understand but for me it's a story that isn't worth it
I thought their(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 dad was dead and their mom wasn’t ? In ch 2 the butler says the lost their dad, uncle off to war and their mom was weak and is recovering in a warm climate? So is she or is she not dead? I know they have said multiple times their dad is dead but rarely anything is said about their mom??
My guess is that the mom could be a spy? They were so wary of Elsa at the beginning that I couldn't help myself to think that they already experienced betrayal from a very close person before (which could be the kids' mom). It also seems that there's some kind of a curse (?) that makes a child of the duke's family unable to disobey the emperor. Although the probability is like, only one for each generation. I think that kind of child is what the emperor wants so he schemed for the children's mother to marry ML's brother and give birth to a child like that. However, it might be that their schemes were found out before she could give birth to that kind of child. So he commands FL's family to send her to the new duke to be his wife and increase the chances of acquiring that child.
This is all just a guess tho. I also have another theory that the women who marry into their family suffer health issues in the long run, which again may be related to the duke's bloodline (as it is heavily implied, I wish they would just reveal it already
Ah I see that would be interesting, I also want to see the mom come up in the future, how that interaction would be.
They are both dead. It's a translation error. The kids' mother died giving birth to Hugh and their father died mysteriously afterwards (rumors say that Rolf killed him to seize the ducal sit but we all know that's not true. How he died hasn't really been discussed but it obviously has to do with the emperor)
The people that the butler mentions in the first chapters are the grandparents. Rolf's parents, not the children's parents. He mentioned that the reason why they don't take care of the kids even when Rolf is away and they are alone is because they live in the south where its warmer, due to the grandma's poor health.
Ooh okayy, it makes sense now! Thanks!
