Rereading this, I always get soooo emotional with the way my bbg zhishu talks about his and fuckface's backstory. Imagine pouring your all into a relationship for over a decade just to leave you with nothing in the end. Like tfym fuckface became the fuckface that he is? I'm hurt, and I've never even been in a relationship. And that's my biggest fear too: loving the old version of someone who is hurting you so much, hoping that the old, loving them is still inside and come back with the love you deserve.
Honestly, this is one of the best side story takes I've seen so far. Still has the same vibes but now with smth new to look forward too.
