No the Anime makes it even more confusing because it is different from the novel. The novel would be a better source to understand it.
Really. When I watched the Anime, I was able to understand it just fine. But yeah, the novel is better.
I'm sure that the Novel Does just fine or even better, usually LN give more details than anime or manga. When watching the anime though I understood just fine but when reading the manga part made me go "What now??"
