As readers, we are allowed to critique the manga without writing our own manga. We can consume things and critique them without needing to be creators ourselves. So there's no need to use that absolutely pointless argument.

As someone who grew up reading this manga for almost a decade, I still check it from time to time because the characters used to mean a lot to me. I don't think it's a crime to express my disappointment about the lack of closure from a manga I grew up with.
I also don't think it's wrong to critique a manga when its storyline is problematic. Sure, I can drop it, but I can also express the kind of change I'd like to see in its storyline. I'm allowed to have opinions about the things I consume even if they aren't always positive! Hope you understand, but if you don't, it's okay :)

The chapter only updates once a month and we alr know the author/artist is working hard for all the details in the story. Obviously it’s gonna take years. I’ve been following this manga for years as well and compared to other stories I’ve read which updates once every week, this basically has a bit faster progression imo. And This is not even fully focused on romance, but kyoko’s life in general and the path she takes in her career. So reading comments about how they just want the story to end alr and both the main leads to get together and shih is disrespecting the author’s time and effort put into their work. If you want just romance, go somewhere else. Rant all you want but don’t disrespect the author’s work as I see some people doing in the comment section. Just bc the romance progression is a bit slow, theyre gonna talk shit about this whole story.
Hmm, I'm not sure what manga you've been reading that updates once a week but has slower development, but I've read webtoons that update faster and have better development than SB. So I do believe there are both sides to the coin based on both our experiences!
Yup, even tho the manga focuses on Kyoko's life in general, there have been generous portions of the manga devoted to her r/s with Ren, hence we're particularly invested in that aspect and want to see development. As for Kyoko's life, she hasn't been in any particular drama or movie as high-profile as Dark Moon over a 100 chapters ago, so it's pretty slow moving too. Her new historical drama hasn't even started filming yet. Stating the plot is slow doesn't mean it's disrespectful to the author — I think it's constructive criticism.
We literally just said we're also okay with the pace of the story but it's only natural to feel frustrated because of how long we need to wait. Again, we're loving the story and we didnt find it annoying for the romance progression to be slow. We also respect the time the author needs in order to create a chapter but as I've said, readers can't help but want to know more about the story because we LOVE it and not just because the romance is slow burned.
