tbh it's her fault to begin with. if she hadn't murdered pei zheng's wife or fiance she wouldn't have went through all of that. also she's kinda weak mentally she needs to get stronger it's starting to piss me off. but still it's her fault, if she wasn't always so full of herself none of this ' bad nightmare' shit would be happening she should have remembered that she was once a orphan and how she was treated.

or try to leave him even her sister explains why pei started treating her like that, also if she still had paid attention to her sister, the sister wouldn't have turned out like that and THE REASON WHY EVERYONE TREATED HER THAT WAY WAS BECAUSE SHE WAS PAMPERED AND HAD TOO MUCH OVER CONFIDENCE

Holy shit, you misunderstood everything. She didn't kill anyone, she was blamed only because she went to dinner with the woman, after which the fiance was killed by a third party... Pei ziheng jumped to conclusions and blamed mc.
Besides, do you really believe that someone (unless they are mentally ill) would knowingly get manipulated? The guy came out of nowhere, adopted mc and her sister and promised to ensure that the sister (whom mc loved very much) would get medical attention. MC herself said that due to this, he was almost like a god to her. She respected him and thougth of him as their saviour, obviously she didn't think twice about the guy's motives, she didn't suspect that he manipulates her.
You are right about the fact that her trying to leave triggered his ruthless behaviour, but in the first place if he wasn't unhealthily obsessed with her, he would have let her go, or asked her to stay nicely like any NORMAL person. She wanted his attention, yes, but when she realised that he is never going to marry her, she gave up and tried to leave like you normally would. She understood that he is not going to give her what she wanted so she didn't want to stay with him anymore, what's so wrong about that?
Like I said, she loved her sister dearly. She paid her plenty of attention, and that bitch turned on her because she was obsessed with pei ziheng and was jealous of mc's success...again, to an unhealthy degree. If she wasn't obviously mentally ill, she would never have hurt mc so much. Sick people like her wouldn't have been fine, no matter how much attention they get, she wanted everything her older sister had and why should mc give up everything just because her sister couldn't achieve popularity by herself or seduce pei ziheng without getting rid of mc?
Sure, mc was spoiled, but she obviously loved both pei ziheng and her sister. Her only fault was, as she herself said, that she didn't interact much with fans and other people. And if you recall, it was exactly those two whom she loved dearly, who were the ones to hurt the mc.
At this point I'm not sure if you are seriously victim blaming, or just trolling to get a reaction.

I'm grateful to the translators for their hard work and the manga artist is doing a great job as well, but ofc the novel is far advanced than this and I think it will take up some years for the manga to catch up with the point where I'm in the novel now. So yes, I highly encourage to read the novel, if you're an impatient one.

the way I read the story, she didn't actually kill the fiance but Pei assumed she did and acted violently towards her. In hysteria, she 'admits' it. I just wanna say, it's clear you have not been in or stayed in an abusive relationship. Yes everyone has a choice but situations and mindsets get warped and because you love the person, you remember the love no matter what they do to you, purely because of the kind and loving moments. This was an unhealthy relationship long before the fiance came into the picture so I am sure he had been 'conditioning' her to obey him. Remember, he freaked out when she wanted to leave him. It wasn't because of her 'killing' his fiance. It was because she dared to try and leave him so he decided to make it so that she can't.

Thats what I thought i've been reading the novel and i'm in the current translated chapter..my point is that it didn't say that she killed pei ziheng's fiance its more like shes been set up as the killer as well as the Wang's family was set up as the one who killed xiao ling when in fact they are not... I'm sorry guys i had given my younger sister my account to use the previous day before and before that and she told me she had posted some comments and was complaining about some 'weak chick who killed his fiance' i didn't know what she was talking about at the time because she just kept rambling on about it and as usual i would ignore her, then i logged on and saw these comments and i realised she had done this. i started reading the story and saw how she would misunderstand the situation with the dude Pei and his fiance and the mc who claimed out of pressure that she 'killed' the fiance, which she actually didn't apparently. (still reading the story i'm only on chap 15 also i'll read the novel) she's only 11 and has a sense of ' it's your decision' thing where she says everything is your own fault and that is what leads to stuff like Pei torturing the mc and stuff and she's the type to ramble on and on about this stuff to the part where it goes off topic XD and yeah shes just something else, also to know whether it's her or me online my comments are more on the fluffy comedy genres whereas her's are on these romantic,manipulative, drama genres and i type weird stuff instead of serious things. i'll explain it to her about what actually happened and i am sincerely sorry for those who had taken out time of their precious day to rewrite and explain the story to her i am deeply sorry.( wow xd this is like the first time i had written something this longggg and for starters it's longer than my essay papers, bruh i need this type of motivation when i write my essays.)

Like wtf. She's about 15-16 and they're doing whatever the hell they want. In the webnovel and in much later chapters does someone in the story finally comment about how she's so young and given the nature of her entanglement with Peib she was deemed to be like Lolita. It's very disturbing. At least they show and admit throughout the story that the cunt Pei was grooming her for this since a very young age but this so called Triad good guy might be treating her well but he's also in his 20s already. Why doesn't anyone tell him to keep his behavior in check. He mostly keeps his behavior 'clean' but he makes it clear throughout the story that he wants her #－.－). As a matter of fact grown men throughout the story keep trying to make disturbing advances towards her even though she's a minor.. it seems realistic in the sense that I can actually see this happening a lot in the entertainment industry.

None ofc knows yet that she's actually 28. I wish they would treat her according to her current age and just back off. Only her producer has some sense and an inkling of moral values in this story.
I'm not even go onto what a disgusting piece of garbage Pei is and the stuff he tries again with the new Xiaoling as well. He's a pedo for real. I feel sorry for her being constantly chased by ppl coz of her looks and talent. Strangely these are the very things that are also helping her to keep sane and strong or else Pei would still have her completely wrapped around his claws with Stockholm Syndrome.

No susan is still 18. Its a confusing timeline issue. When adel died in past life she was 17 and sujin was 18. After adel died she was reborn and has lived 16? years more in second life and so adel was thinking that 16? years more had also pased in her original world and susan would be 30 something. But instead it seems they both 'left' the original world in the same year but were transported to the new world 15 years or so apart. Or at least this is my understanding

I think she was just lashing out at her? Susan implied that adele was too young/childish to be engaged so adele implied that susan looked old for an 18 year old. Maybe she was hinting at susan lying about her age but she may have just be trying to say she looks old

As I was reading the chapter I found the wording to be a bit confusing and got the feeling that maybe the translators had a hard time with getting the best translation or it may be just an editing thing that made the wording a bit confusing for me personaly
