right, but the fiction can really influence younger readers, which is why there are many people talking about the romanticization of things. its not to necessarily hate on the manga, but to let people know it isn't a portrayal of how things should be and that this most definitely shouldn't be romanticized. sure these mostly direct young readers but i've met many full grown adults who romanticize and fetishize, not knowing or even wanting to understand what they're doing is wrong. even if the info was coming from 15 year olds, at least they make a valid and understandable point, though most of the time, they are grown adults making them, to also educate younger people about these topics.
