I really like the story building present in this manhwa cause they mixed traditional alpha societal standards with modern themes which made it fairly interesting to think about cause you really could see the struggles of omegas, especially, recessive ones who are basically, “infertile defects”. As well as how they relate it to women, my God, I could sense its highlight to korea’s gay culture of alienating lgbt and facing challenges similar to women, seeing mina being a girl’s girl made my day so much. Honestly, I first started reading this because of the art style and hoped for a good plot with characters having good chemistry and thank God i did. I hate the idea of falling in love with the pre-tense of pheromones cause it’s too irrational for me. It doesn’t logically define why the characters came to like each other which makes the story a bit iffy to read for me that’s why I don’t usually read omegaverse stories but I’m so grateful for their lore. They really emphasized that this story wasn’t just about brainless desensitizing sex and goes beyond that through beautiful little moments of everyday life to cute coincidences from the past. But did they lose budget or something? They could’ve still included times with the beta chairman, the MC’s resolution of his struggles with his family, the scenes that they’re flirting in school, or just downright having more panels for their cute romance where they get to know each other more, talking about their past, resonating with one another, and just having moments that incite experiences that’ll be a core memory. Overall 8/10. Nice short read if you don’t look at the details too much.
