In lady to queen, I do believe there is an age gap but the emperor is still in his late twenties and in the most recent chapter, his mistress even said he was soon to be thirty. So they have an age gap but I don’t think its the same as the extreme weird ones. But I do agree tho that there might be an age gap since I don’t remember patrizia’s age.

Definitely, my main reason for writing this is because a lot of people were complaining and hating on this story for a freaking 4 YEAR AGE GAP... I love all these stories so I'm not trying to come across as hateful, I'm just stating facts on how bias and how much of a hypocrite some people are with their double standards. They say the king is grooming her and a paedophile when they don't know the actual definition of it, just going off what others on freakin TIKTOK are saying. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ So yeah no hate cause I love all these stories and characters and I'm trying to defend them from people who are biased and who comment without looking for proper information (which is freely available on the internet) and acting hateful and ignorant when we call them out on their bias. ╥﹏╥

You know there’s a difference between a 50 year old and a 15 year old, right? Don’t try and wriggle out of painting something as paedophilia by acting like the morality of age gaps isn’t inherently tied to the maturity of the participants.

I'm not slandering OR calling it paedophilia, I'm just calling out to idiot people on their double standards, this story has a 4 year gap and THEY are calling it paedophilia whereas others stories go off scotch free. I love Lucas and Suddenly Became a Princess and I'm not slandering or sprouting bullshit, I'm stating facts. No idea why ur hating on me and not seeing it how I'm seeing others HATING this story and complaining. No need to hate on me, if anything hate on them

BTW I'm not calling Lucas a paedophile if that's what ur pressed about I'm just trying to point out to other people on THEIR double standards. Lucas is 200+ whereas the King in this story is only 4 years older and calling HIM the paedophile. Just pointing it out that's all. (And if everyone forgot, Nina is an adult woman in a teens body who also considers the Duke a child).

I'm going to reiterate, I'm not hating on any of these stories, I'm just trying to emphasise on peoples double standards. This story and the author is receiving a lot of hate on a 4 year age gap which people are saying the king is a "paedophile". The ONLY reason I brought up those stories is because they are popular mainstream stories that a LOT of people love. And it happens to be that most of these stories have age gaps but I've never heard anyone complain about it (I'm not either as I don't care as it's the work of fiction). So I'm just calling out peoples double standards THAT IS ALL. (〜￣△￣)〜

The problem isn’t the 4 year age gap (sometimes I ship characters who are like 25 and 40) but it’s their age. A 25 year old man hitting on a 21 year old woman ? No problem. An 18 year old man hitting on a 14 year old GIRL ??? That’s kind of weird. Of course some people IRL are in that kind of relationship and maybe some of them are not toxic. But don’t tell me it’s not weird to be interested in a 14 year old girl (barely a teenager tbh) when you’re 18 (almost an adult).

Tho I have to admit you’re right: they’re fictional characters so who cares ! I wasn’t comfortable reading it so I just dropped it and people should do the same if they don’t like it instead of writing comments after every update just to whine about it.

You're the type of person I really respect when it comes to online novels, you know your limits and if something goes beyond it then you know to stop instead of complaining about it and bash the author about it. I heard that the artist of this story got a bit upset when everyone was hating on her design of the character almost to the point of her wanting to drop it after this season. If you don't like it don't read it, it's really simple. Obviously, it's supposed to be a world of free speech but people are starting to lose respect for other people's rights and art to the point that its fatal and that's really scary. So I applaud you and bow at your feet. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I definitely agree with Nina's current body's age being 14 and her being shipped with the king who is already considered an adult (18-19ish). In real life, I'd be sceptic of this relationship and would worry if it was healthy or not. As it is the work of fiction I can look past that because I know (from the novel) that nothing in terms of love/romance between the FL and ML will happen until she's in her early 20s (it just called her an adult in the novel but this is the age a lot of people have said). But if YOU are still put off by this then I fully support you discontinuing this story because at least you gave it a go and truly know that the situation isn't right by you, unlike others who go off what those people are saying on TikTok how the kings grooming her or a paedophile without actually reading the story to know what is actually happening. There is no love between them, the only reason the king keeps her around is that she is an unknown person that has similar powers as a saint but has been disregarded by society and he finds that interesting (plus the cooling effect she has on him due to his polar opposite power of fire). It is also said that Nina is an adult woman in a teens body and that's why she can't conjure a feeling of love towards the Duke because she sees him as a child ╥﹏╥. The only reason I brought up Suddenly Became a Princess is because they have similarities, Athy is also a grown woman in a child body. They are similar in that regard but are treated completely differently (if anything I wish people would see both these stories positively than negatively in this regard). But anyway as I was saying before I lost track (sorry for the long rant ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ) I can definitely see your perspective on how no matter their age gap, as long as one is still considered a child it can be worrying. Yeah I agree. I made an earlier comment wondering how ppl were feeling about the age gap. I was opposed mostly bc I seriously thought she was going to be an adopted daughter to the saintess and king (didn’t know the age of the king and he looks a little older for his age) plus he had red eyes so I thought he would see her as daughter or sister. Also the way he was going about things was misleading since she is in a 14 year olds body. Idk it’s just hard to change your perspective once u thought he was going to be a father or older brother figure for her. But I would never say bad things about the author or other fans for being okay with this cuz usually I am fine with it since it’s fictional characters. Made me a little uncomfortable once I found out he was the ml but like I’ll keep reading cuz I do like her character and the overall story. Just wish we could have a time skip real quick.

I had the same reaction reading the novel but I just kept reading hoping nothing would happen too early (spoilers, luckily nothing until she was in her 20s I think). The main reason I wrote it was because a lot of people were harassing the artist and author about it (I will admit the art makes the king look a little older than he actually is) and I also understand why people thought Nina was the Kings daughter because of it and were put off when they found out who he really was so I understand you're viewpoint. I would have loved her to end up with the Duke but because she's actually an adult woman in a teens body, she saw him as a child ╥﹏╥

It was just heartbreaking reading all their comments towards the artist and author, saying stuff like they should neck themselves and how they're supporting paedophilia so I got a bit heated with them. (▰˘◡˘▰) (my target audience for this whole comment is towards those who have double standards and harass/threaten people who are just trying to create a living. Obviously, I'm not helping much cause we're on an illegal website but I just hate the slander that's spread (mostly spread by misinformation on TikTok).
