It was so sweet...like why are people even criticizing this story. It's way better than other harlequins. He truly loved her and only got upset at her because she didn't trust him after their 16 years of relationship. And despite everything they still tried to keep their relationship stable successfully for their kids.

I'm not sure of it because it's just my guess (while looking at the looks of the characters involved and at that particular chapter) since I've never checked. In Light & Shadow there's a chapter with a flashback (I suppose) in which Eli and his servant (silver hair) are going to battle. With them there's a woman with brown hair and green eyes that seemed intimate (like a wife or a lover) with Eli and since the war was near Eli made her with I think their baby (maybe she was pregnant too but I don't remember) and her servant escape safely from the conflict. I haven't started Golden time but I saw some images of it and the main character is similar to that woman from the flashback and has Eli's eyes so I linked these two things, if it's true what I'm guessing I would like to know why it seems from what I know that Eli never tried to find his family (wife/lover + one/two daughters) after everything calmed down. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

i believe it was to show the story of succession within their household. i may be completely wrong, but i believe it is to be for that reason.
