Loved FL, Andy and Marie. It was hard to like ML and other side characters.
Apparently novel Ml was unbearable. Thankfully this one was not that bad
FL was so damn annoying and spoiled. I feel like ML deserved much better than what he got.
That investigation part at the end was so unnecessary lol. Nothing got resolved, that wine will always be stuck between them and cause issues.

Why was ML keen on destroying the whole town just cause he wanted revenge on his uncle!? Make it make sense. Stupid guy! Should have made Gracie Mayor instead. She had much better ideas than him and was a better person all around.
Too many plot holes and that ending was so Mary sue.

I was confused by that sentence but i think it was an interupted sentence that was supposed to be "my one true love is Ruby" or something, like he was talking to his deadwife about her.
And grief is weird, especially since his wife was his best friend, imo best friend are just as hard to lose as close family members or spouses
