Yes and no. I love this story, I love that Kyoko was betrayed and vowed to take revenge. I love that the romance is slow, I love that so much of the story is about Kyoko finding her feet in the acting world and as a person. But the story has been going on for 16 years now and will probably not end for several more. If you don't feel like waiting with the rest of us come back later

i’m a bit lost with the latest chapters (translation ?) but overall i would absolutely recommend that story,
there are plenty episodes to read already, and it can be wise to stop at the end of a story arc, because the author release only one chapter/month or so -
If you are mindful to stop at a key point (and there’s been a nice one recently) i don’t see why you should wait to enjoy it now ( i re read it once in a while with lot of pleasure too)
If you know of glass no kamen, this has a lot in common - the romance is definitely not the most important part, as previously mentioned - acting is a big part, after that it should be maybe « healing the hateful heart of the MC (that for the hilarious part)
It’s more light hearted than glass no kamen, and the MC is at the same time very dynamic, completely messed up yet a little bit relatable
There are a lot of protagonists in this story and a good bit of character development
The stories are varied and i never got bored so far -
i buy the paper version, so I’m not to upset if i need to wait several months to get a new volume, or read online
It used to be like that before inter translation anyway ;)

Wanna spoil for me

I’ve only r d till ch189 and left it be to binge read it from 189 till the last chapter all in once, so i can only spoil u a little, and well it’s been a long time i don’t remember all details but i remember the overall f what happened,

ch189 shows the général idea of what’ll happen, but the reason why it leads to an ending like that for him, is because the girl starts having a hard time, she starts seeing her mother’s ghost telling her that she shouldn’t have married the guy who killed her mother and father (the ML), and then one of the pple she considered to be her friend tries to kill her and blames her for the death of another of her precious friends that she had in the past and sacrificed herself to help the FL continue living , and a lot of other things happen that makes the FL have a reaaaaaaal hard time and nearly lose it, then as u see in ch189 when the ML’s brother tries to kill her and the ML she can’t bear it anymore and tries to kill herself , the ML tries to stop her and then he accidentally end up dying by the sword she had in hand(u see it all in ch189) , and the reason why they were on their way in the middle of jungle is because the FL had been losing it so much that the ML suggested going and living somewhere that the FL would feel more at ease and at home ( i think it was somewhere that the FL had a lot of good memories in or sth?) so they go there and get attacked.
Basically everything started going west from when the ML’s father died in the hands of the FL( the ML had told her to kill his father), and the reason why the ML’s brother tried to kill them was to take revenge too.

Um well, tpday i read it till ch195, the status is “ongoing” and they haven’t ended up together. But i read in the comments that a lot of pple said things about how the FL will not end up together with neither of the guys, so i guess they don’t end up together(?) . Unless there’ll be more episodes . And the ghost kimda wants to get swalloed by the little bro’s soul and vanish(?) that’s what the little brother said in (i think) ch195
