I think the explanation was she was doing so poorly mentally bc of the crazy shît happening that if asa was brought back to consciousness she would lose her mind or kîll herself or smt. So for her own protection the war devil kept her submerged

There is kids-doing-shit-themselves-and-not-telling-elders-ception. There is one bunch of kids, the middle schoolers with Yuri and now there is another set of kids, even younger, doing shit and solving shit themselves without telling their older counterparts (who are only in middle school) what they are doing and planning. I just find this kinda funny lmaoooooo, also the last few panels of this ch, ch 68 were chilling, actually the whole thing is getting scary but the last few panels… yeesh

Erm something like she’s half fairy royalty or something which makes astaire part fairy so he’s good at magic? And the current empress killed her with the red flowers, which are poisonous to fairies. But they’re not effective against Astaire bc he has human blood maybe?
Anyway the emperor feels bad about his mom dying and he wants to get revenge on the empress, that’s all that really matters I think
The scene where the crown Prince sees generations of Astaire’s family in the room was so cool, I was wondering if there was more significance to that. I remember that he is literally one of the last faeries too and I was wondering why and maybe that’s also why they were all there in the room with him?? Idkkk… Was the throne originally their’s too? I have to go all the way back, I wish there was one little blurb of the lore before the start of the season
Maybe the Queen and/or her family was the reason why the faeries died off??

I don’t have the patience. They’re going to end up together I know and he probably has his reasons for being such a dickweed but I don’t care to find out or see her go through a teeth pulling process to get back to a place where she (and the audience) is ok with them being together.

Saeko thinking she is pitiful rubs me the wrong way. It runs parallel to her proclivity for needing control, wanting to dominate and possess so that there is constant reassurance. Saeko continuously pities her ability to be vulnerable and to be transparent of her feelings because it’s hard for herself to do, to be in a position where she can get hurt and simultaneously she thinks it is weak. An oxymoron because showing vulnerability like being transparent of how you feel and what you want and need despite the possibility of being hurt is harder for Saeko to do. It isn’t pitiful that someone can’t adequately hide that they like just being near you and that they like to be in your presence. Almost as if Saeko thinks she can see the entire situation and that she is in somewhat control of how their relationship can change. Like it’s up to her.

WHY DOES THIS OLD WOMAN HAVE SUCH A GRIP ON YOU DOYEON??? Does Doyeon forget that right after her husband came back it was a “I call you answer” thing where Jinjoo had the upper hand???? Jinjoo has exerted control and dominance and does indeed get off on it but at the same time also has low self esteem. The only thing that she has control over in her life where she seems to have no control is Doyeon and she can’t let that go. She seems upset whenever it seems like Doyeon is slipping away from her all encompassing infatuation and at the same time she hates herself for liking how Doyeon pleases her because despite the fact that she did project 20 years of adult marriage and baggage on Doyeon and used her to satisfy herself and to feel in control, hating her and hating her potential in life, Doyeon is the only person who puts her above everything and adores her, of course that adoration also comes from a fucked up place. She wants to take out her sexual frustration, she wants to feel used but in a controlled way so she can hate Doyeon and what she represents (projects on) to her in a safe space, safe because she knows Doyeon will never leave her. Jinjoo is despicable.
