Tbh I’m ok with isagi being a (very) slow starter. He did compare his stats with the best aka the people who beat him/snatch away his chances at scoring and he’s got a long way to go. This means he’s got a LOT of room for improvement and the author is doing a great job at showing it. I prefer this over sudden power ups that make absolutely no sense.
I completely agree with you. I've been seeing a lot of comments that just want to see Isagi make impossible goals all of a sudden, but I think the author is trying to let him improve more and make it big, like you said. Having him suddenly becoming godly just doesn't feel realistic, even though this manga is already pushing the limits of a realistic sports manga, I still think it would be better if he has a build up.
Yeah agree. We all know Isagi is a slow starters and in the end the manga is about the bluelock facilities as long as Isagi improve and stay in the facilities,we will see him getting the spotlight. It only just in the second stage. In this matched it doesn't matters much if Isagi doesn't have a goal but contribute many things to the team. In fact if he fails than this matched can be a turning point in the story about Isagi journey to become the only survivor of bluelock, whether he can improve his weakness or not. This matched is just like one of the boss monster before going to the next levels. I think that Isagi have improved so much and different from how he used to be. I can't wait to read about the wild card things and what other training Ego has prepared for them
NOELLE YOU ROCK KILL THAT PSYCHO BITCH but maybe because I’m influenced by infinity war why don’t they go for the head? Or heart? Like every time they do their final attack it’s always to the stomach, and that gives them time before they die. Is it because it’s shounen and it’ll be too dark if they die immediately?
Hey it’s kinda nice the author put this chapter to show in detail why the elf Lance was investigating dungeons (and alone)
Those of you who didn’t read the novel, buckle up it’s gonna get wild. And sad. So sad
spoil me pls
SPOILER DOWN BELOW
Alea dies a very very gruesome and slow death (I hope they don’t draw it it’s too graphic) and she was killed by one of the higher ups in the other continent. All the weird occurrences in the dungeons so far are results of experiments done by them. I’m not sure how much you want me to spoil, so I’ll leave another huge gap. HUGE SPOILER
Ok. So. Basically there’s another ‘area’ in the world where higher beings called Asuras live, and they have watched over the two continents down below: mc’s and the newly discovered one. They mostly don’t interfere with the happenings down there. The one who killed Alea is a mixed blood of an enemy clan of the asuras and people from the new continent, so obviously the enemy clan broke away and declared war on basically everyone else. Sylvia is the daughter of the main ‘good guys side’ clan’s head. And Sylvie is her daughter. There’s more to this particular bit but that will be too much. Idk how much more they’ll change about the racist stuff happening in the school but I think it’ll still escalate into a full blown ‘battle of hogwarts’ style thing. Some lackie—who was controlling the racist faction behind the scenes—from the other continent comes, wreaks major MAJOR havoc(prepare for character death and crippling), MC comes late to the party, loses his shit, gets wrongly arrested, and the training arc begins.
damnnnn , things escalated soo fast neway thanks !
