She's the "villainess" but this reads like a run of the mill otome game. No substance, just pretty boys and one Yuri/Shoujo ai option that they usually don't give much content for in comparison to the guys. The plot would make more sense with better execution but even then, it's premise is just like every other villainess reincarnation story in the beginning, then morphs into every generic otome game story afterwards but with the reverse harem route. The protagonist is probably the most bland FL I've seen in a while. She's another one of those "I want to escape my fate!" FLs who do the bare minimum about their situation. If we didn't have access to her thoughts as readers, you could replace her with a mary sue lamp and the majority of the story would flow the same.
Doesn't mangago have a system to handle multiple uploads of the same chapter? I swear I've seen it. Like the translation teams name was on the side in yellow or something. Reuploading a chapter with no name difference (be that the chapter or translator name) just overwrites to previous chapter I think. Which is a shame because I've seen some quality translations get overwritten by terrible ones with missing pages and stuff before.
Why did she trust his common sense when she had to tell him to use a door instead of the window AHAHAHAHAA
Same hahaha. My brain just started singing "from the windoooooooow to door" after I read that part and I went and looked up the lyrics to see if I was right (it's TO the window to the WALL, I was wrong) but I found it so funny and I just had to share when I saw your comment cause I thought same. Like they're are all totally abnormal so why was she expecting anything other than a equally abnormal response....
Why does she need to leave if she can't lift the curse by the time he's an adult?
The original novel Ancia fell in is a 19-R lewd novel as she stated from memories. She narrates how a slight bit of contact with the OG FL and our red-eyed ML had a great effect on him and that the more contact there was, then the curse got lifted or sumtn sumtn. It gets blurry for me there with Ancia's narration cuz she states as well that her sister falls for the 2nd d-bag so how does all this and that ( ̄∇ ̄") ?????????????
What i also like about this aside from the comedy is that the FL and her fiance have swapped traditional roles of these princess-y Isekai manhua. The ML is normally the one in charge, owns/pays for everything, is dragging his fiancee to his own tune, and forgetting to explain things or just have a conversation/ask for permission. We see her doing that here in a comedic manner but if this were that last one in a traditional princess-y Isekai, we would be livid at his rude attitude.
Damn the translator was on point (as always). The "readers every time there's a speck of romance" note (ch.72) really got me lmao. Like honestly, let stuff play out. This Webtoons has been shown to be different from a lot of the other ones that only show women if they are gonna put them in a harem or something.
The closest we've seen is Sherry but not only has she grown to be able to take care of herself for the most part with hard work (yeah she's not one of the OP fighters but she actually tries), the author shows a romance arc for her that doesn't involve the main character. If that's not trope subversion, idk what is. There are other women in this webtoon but she's shown the most so I've seen a lot of comments bashing her for just breathing and I'm like... Chill out y'all.
