She's the "villainess" but this reads like a run of the mill otome game. No substance, just pretty boys and one Yuri/Shoujo ai option that they usually don't give much content for in comparison to the guys. The plot would make more sense with better execution but even then, it's premise is just like every other villainess reincarnation story in the beginning, then morphs into every generic otome game story afterwards but with the reverse harem route. The protagonist is probably the most bland FL I've seen in a while. She's another one of those "I want to escape my fate!" FLs who do the bare minimum about their situation. If we didn't have access to her thoughts as readers, you could replace her with a mary sue lamp and the majority of the story would flow the same.
Damn the translator was on point (as always). The "readers every time there's a speck of romance" note (ch.72) really got me lmao. Like honestly, let stuff play out. This Webtoons has been shown to be different from a lot of the other ones that only show women if they are gonna put them in a harem or something.
The closest we've seen is Sherry but not only has she grown to be able to take care of herself for the most part with hard work (yeah she's not one of the OP fighters but she actually tries), the author shows a romance arc for her that doesn't involve the main character. If that's not trope subversion, idk what is. There are other women in this webtoon but she's shown the most so I've seen a lot of comments bashing her for just breathing and I'm like... Chill out y'all.
