I don't really hate her though. It's not like she is trying to come between them and ruin their relationship, that guy rejected him and she is genuinely in love with the rejected guy. She didn't spread rumours or try to create a rift between them. They had that gap way before she stepped in and personally, I hope she end up with him even though I know she won't since this is yaoi. That guy punched his friend and the friend could never hurt him...just that tells you a lot about the different ways they value each other... If this was a shojo and not yaoi, everyone would either think the guy she loves is being an asshole to her or they would cheer her on because she genuinely liked him and even after finding out he is gay, she didn't have the typical reaction.
Personally, I despise the guy who rejected his friend (I keep refering to him as such because I don't remember anyone's name). It's fine to not like someone back but wanting to push them with someone else just to force them to change their feelings of love and revert back to being just a friend is insulting
