I love how this is developing and paced. I wasn't expecting them to travel solo together. Abel wants to meet Karas while hiding his identity, but instead, he unknowingly meets Karas and proves he's Abel/similar to Abel while under this misunderstanding. Karas who has grown distrustful of people being forced on him and those who insist on being Abel's reincarnation wouldn't have been warm toward Abel if he'd started off in the same way. Abel's innocent, bumbling, and sincere ways will give him away without him needing to come up with hard evidence.
Is season 1 about to end? I'm assuming there will be a time-skip past Rutger's military academy years and much of Leoni's life on her father's estate with her vile half-sister. I have to say I'm not a big fan of Rutger's fawning and clinginess, but I think a part of that is just a distaste for kid behavior. Hopefully he won't be so annoying as an adult. But I really enjoy the story so far, and am very curious to learn about the relevance of the Whisperer and how the two timelines play out and resolve themselves.
Is it pretty much confirmed that Leikas is a game character with self-awareness, or is in a similar position as Arviche/MC? Leikas suggests that he has been living through the events of the game over and over. And him alluding to a curse and not wanting to pray to the game's god may be another hint to that.
