I saw people changing their minds about Rashta, saying they now felt sorry for her. To each their own, of course. Everyone's allowed to feel what they want. In saying that, I thought I was the only one who didn't pity her. I wondered if I was being too cold-hearted bc I felt nothing but anger for her and joy for her downfall. You're right. She's not stupid or dumb. She knew exactly what she was doing. Whether or not everyone in this situation propositioned her first means nothing. She still went along with their plans and her own as well, so she still deserves her due punishments.
You know what? We say that Rashta wasn't stupid, but she was in a sense that her doing all the shit that she did and with all that she did it with...was indeed stupid. But as far as her being cunning and manipulative, she was brilliant. She knew how to work her title, her beauty, and made herself seem like she was pitiful little thing that knew nothing of the world.
No doubt she wanted a change of life bc of her being a former slave and having abandonment issues, but she went about it in horrible ways. The maid was right: she should've stated and face and accept her consequences with dignity. And if there was anything that was a lie, she could've defended herself and told her truth. Long story short… at least in the beginning of the next portion…
Callisto berates the family and then is called away by his father to go deal with another uprising (he flips his shit over this). Meanwhile Penelope has a dream while in her coma that explains what is really going on with Yvonne and what she needs to do to defeat her. She then wakes up and leaves the estate to gather what she needs to beat Yvonne, eventually finding herself on a ship that is attacked by a giant tentacle monster and while she’s fighting, Callisto comes to her aid and together they defeat the monster and share a passionate kiss.
Honestly honestly I don’t like the ending, it feels too rushed plus it doesn’t make sense onto why she killed him when bro was always by her side.
