So theres these 2 rlly bad sunbaes that jia sunbae(the nice red head one) mentioned before and they will come in the new semester trying to take over the club esp bc they are suck ups to the prof who sponsors the club. But! In the new semester jia sunbae kinda takes a break to do work and kangmin sunbae takes a break to work on the band so they leave bitna in charge of the club. But like i said the 2 bad guys want to take over the club and turn it basically into their hangout room. So bitna makes a deal with the prof that if she gets all of the illustration club members to sign a form then she can keep the club and be the leader herself but that means all, which also means she needs gayoungs signature..(the short blonde hair one). Theres a whole lot of character development for bitna and gayoung (little bit of sihyung too) in this arc so its going to be really good!!
(And moments between kangmin and bitna /// one of them is that the bad sunbaes corner her but kangmin comes in to save her yelling that hes her boyfriend (KYAA) and another is that he calls her when shes tired and just by hearing her voice he knows something is wrong :’) korean fans too are totally rooting for kangmin sunbae so i def think hes endgame!!)

As of right now its not official yet, but many kfans are cheering on kangmin sunbae and i think he is the ml as well :-)
I wish this story would be more about how she handles her school life and this bc in the beginning they said she was a law student? And i thought it would really cool if she used her law knowledge to do things but i guess this is just a normal idol drama manhwa (￣∇￣") o well ill just read it for what it is

What if...the theory that theres resentment towards the duchy is that its her resentment towards the guy who she fell in love with and killed in her past life? Bc the duke looks similar to her past lover he could maybe? Have a connection to him and bc she resented him for betraying her that became a curse? Idk i might just be making things up (￣∇￣")
I think the curse is actually about loneliness. The grand duke only turned into a beast after his parents died and he felt incredibly lonely, also it is undone by kissing (maybe like in the beauty and the beast where he becomes human only if someone truly loves him). I just don’t know how it started... maybe someone was really in love with her but she only ever loved Theodore? But then it wouldn’t make so much sense that Thereode looks like Theodore... I’m guessing it all comes back to those two but I don’t know how it’s all connected hmm ╮(￣▽￣)╭

You didn't missed anything. None of that is explained in the manhwa yet. The only thing that is known is that the one in the potrait is the late empress. The crown prince's real mother.

She was the late empress whom Johannes had loved. Shuli and the late empress’s relationship was not yet mentioned in this spoilers. since Shuli resembled her a lot, he chose her and marry her. It was intentional for him, I also read he searched for him and there was purpose that was not love when he took her in. The cardinal panda eyes was in love with Shuli but could not believe with what he was feeling; so he did everything he could to remove her from his heart. Like the phrase, if I can’t have you, suffer. Or something. He was twisted through and through.

- As you can see in the manhwa, 5 of them as close friends that are the emperor, the late empress, johannes, both nora parents. And as you can guess both emperor and johannes fall in love with the late empress. But how the late empress end up marrying the emperor is not yet being told. "Johannes stare at the potrait of the late empress for a long time" is a sad symbolic of how he is still in love with her yet he cant fulfill it. A longing.
-The cardinal did fall in love with shuli. It is love at the first sight (because in the novel, shuli is describe as a very beautiful woman). So this sorry excuse of a man, did all that because he wanted shuli for himself so he wanted to destroy all the men on shuli's side. If he can't have her then no one can have her. HE IS A CREEPY PSYCHO!! If you notice one of the scene about the cardinal where he is praying while there are old lashes on his back. He did it to himself because he yearn for shuli with his body.
-Eventhough shuli resemble the late empress a lot but it is said that they had no relation. The look-a-like is just coincidence or we can say fate.
