lol I'm a bit confused too but basically this is what I got:

MC gets killed by ML, then gets reincarnated to before he met ML. To avoid getting killed again, he tries to hide is identity from ML as well as try not to interact w/ him. They still end up interacting a lot and eventually they're like best buds in this timeline. Then comes this new character Nial (idr her name) that disguises as a guy and she briefly tries to sabotage MC's royal family bc she has a grudge against her own family and thus want to sully the relationship. Eventually, ML's dragon powers/curse manifests and MC's like "oh no not again" bc ML got persecuted in the previous life when his curse got exposed. This causes them to journey on an adventure to find this magic stone that will cure ML. This led to them meeting this mage that was apparently close to the MC's deceased mother. Ya-da ya-da they eventually made it to some dragon domain(?) and think they found the magic stone finally. Except, it was actually a fake and causes MC to get harmed when they activate it. At some point, we realize the ML also reincarnated but idr when.

Btw didn't know when to add this but the king neglects MC and the king's advisor is very manipulative to MC which is why MC did a lot of terrible stuff pre-reincarnation.

Then we get a brief backstory about why/how they reincarnated and basically remember how MC got killed by ML? It's bc ML was mad at how MC used to treat him sweetly but then started treating him like shit at some point. While disposing of the deceased MC's belongings, ML discovers that MC was holding onto a gift from a long time ago when they first met. ML discovers that MC had lost his memory at some point in his childhood which is why he treated ML badly (advisor's manipulation).

Oh forgot to add stuff at the end...

So after ML discovers MC had amnesia, he regrets killing MC and sacrifices his dragon ability(????) in order to get a second chance in life aka be reincarnated. Although, he is not aware the MC was also reincarnated.

Back to present time, the dragon who granted ML the original wish asks him if he regretted asking for another life when MC's gonna die again and ML says he doesn't regret it. Then the ML tries to sacrifice his life to ensure the MC lives this time.
