I love that it didn’t escalate with too much drama, it was frustrating for a while but at least it didn’t go overboard like how other yaoi mangas go through. I really like how chill and wholesome it went with it, the times they talked over how much they love each other was super sweet.
Would definitely Read if there’s gonna be a sequel.
I’ve reread this as far as I can remember, before the anime aired. I absolutely adore this series, it’s definitely problematic but I love the sense of comfort and warmth it gives me. That’s why I like to reread it once a year, after the anime aired I think that’s when I stopped rereading it. Probably due to the fact of the negative feedback it got from the anime, it kinda hurts to see people point out this series as bad... so I stopped reading the updates, anyways updates weren’t that frequent in the first place so I wouldn’t be missing much.
Finally decided to reread this today, and I still really really love this series. I will acknowledge the criticism this series received. It has morals all over the place and it’s not a story that everyone would like. But I just like it, I think the author’s way of writing such a complex relationship between brothers is thought provoking And also very sweet at the same time. I really liked this during the moments where they act familial to each other, to a point where I would read back on those specific moments.
I still really enjoy this series, and the current arc they’re tackling about ren’s past is really interesting.
It’s so rare to find mangas that would get me hooked, so I’m just resorting to rereading old series. It’s also comforting to reread something you know what’s going to happen.
Agh I love how wholesome they are, not much drama and I like that just because she’s a girl they don’t make her super feminine we she chose to dress androgynous clothing. Like usually gender bender genre types of series make the girl super feminine after getting a boyfriend which is nice but also seemed so force.
