Me trying not to notice the internal misogyny with some of the characters like… y’all really fell in love with her cause you saw her as weak and ‘needs protection’.. like it’s not even 1 guy but 2,3 maybe even 10 more guys… falling in love with her cus she can cook like when is the dude ever gonna cook for her like imma wait—— japan mangas do be like…
I'm inclined to giving this manga a smaaaall pass though....
The misogyny in this manga was probably intentional: 1. Because it makes the main love interest stand out more (e.g. him not underestimating her for being a housekeeping mage and not being overly protective of her) 2. It makes the villains more loathsome than they already are.
I do have to admit though, I wish that she wasn't called a "housekeeping mage". Maybe it would make more sense in Japanese, but idk it just irked me. Like, you have a lot of potential Shiori.
Didn’t Dia say that her “father’s mother is the current queen”, so that would make the little prince her uncle??….
oh no
It could be a translation mistake… at least i hope so
She was saying it based on stories she read. because she mentions that the Prince in her stories always has blonde hair like her sad and her mom in the story is technically the lady that marries a prince who became the queen, so she's not actually the queen. It's just her imagination of it.
