i personally really like it when the top is more on the puppy side bc it’s cuter (to me) when they’re pining after the bottom rather than the cliche bottom falls for top first, top doesnt like bottom so bottom gives up, and then top likes bottom.
also, the way this manhwa writes its characters reflects a more realistic world that i can easily transport and immerse myself into. not every single female in bls should be ragingly jealous because that’s just not realistic - not every single woman in real life would act like that. instead, most characters in this story has their own personality, flaws, and acts human.
i could honestly go on and on about how great this manhwa is tbh!

i love how desperate yet earnest lucaon is not that he finally knows he loves kyon; meanwhile, kyon is so torn on whether or not to leave.
i think this manhwa, overall, is okay with evident plot holes and unanswered questions, but BOY do i love ch.41!!!! it’s amazing!
