Authors need to be more creative. I’m sick and tired of the trope “fl being reckless” because the ml will somehow swoop in to save her.

It's not even suspenseful because we KNOW the ML will swoop in, so we just feel annoyed instead. She could have just staked out down there to see who come out of the room but noooo she has to confront the potential culprit.
it's crack manga. A yakuza goes to the dentist after putting off dental visits for years and years out of phobia. He falls in love with the dentist, who is actually a crossdresser and a yakuza himself.
the mc had a crush on a classmate but never confessed. now he moved into a new house and the classmate lives there too. The other two tenants are dating. One of 'em looks like a giant bear and the other one is a high school teacher who's rude to anyone but his lover.
edit for more details: in the a recent chap they made out after mc spotted the two other tenants fcking, but i think the next day the mc tried to act normally??! the mc is a hairstylist btw.
