The red rope was a threat. Heinry didn't like that christa's dad was messing with the thrown trying to sabotage him and his wifey's relationship so he kidnapped christa then when christa's father tried to harm his wifey he used christa to get him to tell the truth or to take the blame for it so I'm guessing she killed herself do to the pressure of her mistakes or because she just couldn't live in a world where she couldn't have Heinry and she was unhappy. That or she was murdered but I don't know the reason for any of this because i haven't read the spoilers or the novel so this is just my theory~~
