It's nothing to do with age gaps in historical times clearly. She's literally 12 years older than her past incarnation when she died. Making such a big deal about physical age differences not only makes it appear okay to marry a person of the same physical age as you with the mentality of a child but also insults the MCs by saying that it's their fault for being reborn in a body that's younger than they were if they wanted to be together with anyone who is physically much older than they are in their current body.

Totally agreed. It was fine if it was only 3 - 5 years apart but their age gap was a decades apart. When she was with her daughter theyre almost looks like sisters or best friends. It be weird if she become a stepmom.

Please don't let this happen… I don't really like that huge age gap. I'm not against them, but it somehow felt like a pedophile's doing. I think there might be a better route like being a big sister for the child (it's not necessary to be called 'mom', no? As long as she could be with her child, yes?)

Its not from the author but the artist who had done BL before. The story is originally a novel which is adapted into webcomic so its less likely the author wrote BL genre before.

While I am a BL enthusiastic, I prefer this to be wholesome. I don't know about you guys but it's rare to see such a cute handsome MC, totally my type.

I also just wanted a wholesome cooking story. Cooking mangas are honestly so cute to read when its wholesome and has a bit of action. Which will probably happen later
