I mean we can all speculate that she’s actually sweet on Ruve again which is rather unpalatable. But I think it was mostly for political reasons that she hesitated to end it. She meets this girl again who is now extremely hateful and not trustworthy. This girl is being adopted by Lord Zena, the leader of the aristocratic faction, who stand against the house of Monique and Zena who hates Aristia. I think her being poisoned makes her act rather rashly in ending the engagement just to be free of the danger. But honestly, she’s not safe because they are still trying to kill her (horse saddle). And she should fear Juien (forgot how her name is spelled) becoming empress, with Zena standing right behind her. As an empress Juien will have power over Aristia as she’s only a noble. Even Ruve won’t be able to always look out for this. And with the schemer Zena as an influence over Juien, and by extension possibly Ruve in the future, the threat on Tia’s life remains. I heard some spoilers...............that Tia marries the prince again and people are pissed. I get it as Ruve is really a rather weak male lead, more so as the first impression we get of him is utterly vile. Those were really the strongest chapters imo. This first impression follows throughout the whole story as no other second impression we get of him leaves such a big impact on our minds than in the first few chapters. But aside from the whole “romance”, I think Tia marrying this man again, is really the best course of action to protect herself better from Juien and Zena. But I’m still rather ambivalent about this. I wish she could just bounce but with those bastards still snapping at her heels, she’s slowly being pushed to a corner. She’s lodged between a rock and a hard place here. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Since vol 2 chapter 8 I can’t get the image of this huge Werewolf guy standing behind Allen like that out of my head. The whole scene shook me. It’s distracting me from the main couple (￣∇￣")

This is seriously the best transmigration story I’ve ever read. Chapter 43 gave me the chills. Any other story would have the brothers do a complete turnaround, while the “villainess” would remain long suffering and quiet to not make them rage at her. Or her liking them for no reason. In this chapter we finally see her have enough of it in the wake of Reynolds constant verbal badgering. And his favorability sinks as a result of it. And she was aware that it would with what she said and didn’t care. And it makes sense. She came to know that Penelope has it even worse than previously thought. All the effort she put in to making those brothers see her in a more tolerable light so she wouldn’t die, came with a lot of having to swallow her pride and being extremely careful, even in light of constant disrespect. Which is stressful and angering. And it doesn’t really matter as, especially Reynold, wants the status quo of her being an ill mannered interloper and him and the family the unfortunate ones who “benignly” put up with Yvonnes replacement, to remain in place. She can’t gain any profound ground here to change the relationship because the others (especially Reynold) don’t want it to change. Her being suddenly the voice of reason doesn’t fit into their worldview of her being the problem. Her new behavior forces them to take a long hard look in the mirror, and they don’t like what they see. With that comes the knowledge how the staff treated her while the “family” remained willfully ignorant. Then we suddenly get those “kind” gestures by the duke that come light years too late. She gives in to this kindness and goes to the attic just to be again confronted by how much she is hated for some childhood transgressions. Her remaining calm and explaining herself only heightened Reynolds anger and he becomes even more vile. Of course she “snapped” at Reynolds bullshit this time. He can’t let go of his dislike of her as admitting he was wrong and spiteful would hurt his pride. And we know how important pride is to him as he’s constantly bringing it up in conversations with Penelope. I assume he feels like shit after the dinner revelations and also angry because of his weird jealousy over Iklies. So to get rid of his guilty conscience he drags all those long gone misbehaviors of Penelope’s up to justify in his mind why she was treated like dirt from the beginning. I live for it. It’s rare for a webtoon/webnovel to understand human psychology like this. I can’t wait for the next chapter!

Lol. I have always been defending her mindset about thinking that the Duke and Serenia are a couple because it looked like this from an outside perspective. But if she is trying to explain away his bold love confession I’m going scream.

Lol, I thought she would become MC’s friend or at least respect the marriage, not throw herself like a starving lion at the emperor. I’ve seen some raws and it looks like she gets angry at MC because the emperor is only interested in his wife. Gosh, this girl is unbearable

Im a Little bummed out in how easily Allen‘s obsession went from „I will take the title and lands away from your father so you will fall into my lap“ to „I will come clean now to protect you even if it costs my life and never have you“. I don’t know but how this was resolved is very flat and looks to me like the artist wanted to take Allen out of the equation before the main plot with Jieun is introduced, so wrapped this side plot up with lightning speed. We spend about 100 chapters, watching Allen fall into this madness and obsession and there was no boom in the end. He just gave up. For a mentally healthy person, I can understand them having a lightbulb moment when things went too far, but Allen was creepy and dangerous in his obsession. I would have never expected from him to just take off like this. It’s not like I wanted him end up with Tia, but this was weird to me. （￣へ￣）

Or does this webtoon remain frustrating with the MC being so weak and not engaging. I tried to get in to this twice already as the art is gorgeous and the transmigration trope interests me quite a lot. The first time I dropped it was around the chapter after the MC went to the ML‘s house and her sister appeared. The MC annoyed me already with her weakness, constant waterworks, only goal to make the ML happy and my concerns of her might excusing his villainous behavior if she witnesses it. But after her sister popped up and had a heated argument with the ML, which had the sparks flying between them, I couldn’t anymore. The ML and FL are supposed to have the most chemistry with each other but I was more interested to see her sister with the ML. Months later I went back and started from the beginning once more. I just couldn’t get past the MC‘s character as she is utterly unappealing to me and dropped it even sooner. So I ask.... does it get any better? Does the MC find her spine? Is there more to her than her desperation for the ML? Also, what about the ML? Is he going to get worse? I read some comments that disturbed me quite a bit about him killing an infant. Is that true? If so, I think I won’t attempt to read it a third time, unless I want to torture myself

I’m getting bored with this overload on smut between those guys in favor of plot development.I like smut as much as the next person but I want the story to progress finally. What’s this app about?
