I like this story but Whyyyyyy?!?!? All manhwa/manhua/manga say the same thing: if you want to be pretty and successful; you have to be really thin (sometime it's even bony). And it's funny but when a girl is "fat", she is small but after her diet she become tall... I didn't know that lose weight make gain height....
Honestly at the beginning of the story, is it really ok to romanticize stalking a child!? Even the character before death, it's like it's absolutely fine to stalk people? And she has the nerve to think he is a narcissist because he didn't understand that she was stalking his son!! Now imagine the situation if the FL was male, everyone would say he's a pédophile so why is it ok for a girl to do it?!? I hate her character at the beginning of the story
Honestly same. She wasn’t making any sense and her behavior was absolutely creepy, there’s no justifying or excusing it.
Well the way I saw it, was that at the beginning she didn't see Abel as an actual child but as a character that would later become the main character from "persona". He was a her favorite character, and at the beginning she referred to herself as a stan.
It's only after meeting him and spending time with him and the reality of her situation hit her that this behavior disappears because now, he isn't a character to her, this isn't some story in a book, this is real and there are real, horrific consequences to everything.
So I understand your point of view but I also see and understand her behavior and to reply to the original comment, in her head, she wasn't stalking a child, but her favorite character and also objectively speaking hades has a lot of narcissistic tendencies.
But even if that’s the “way she sees it,” it’s still objective stalking.
Of course it was, I'm not saying it wasn't. I'm just saying her behavior does make sense considering her situation.
She's a stan that was magically and suddenly dropped into the world of her favorite book. Why wouldn't she want to follow the life of her favorite character up close now that she has the chance?
Especially knowing the life he'll live, why wouldn't she want to keep an eye on his situation and even prepare to be able to assist him?
It was creepy, but when you're reading a book or you watch a show and you witness the most private moments of a character without their consent, is that stalking? Of course not. They're not real! It becomes stalking when you're following a real person's life and witnessing private moments without their consent. But Abel wasn't real to aisha in the beginning. He was a character she stanned.
Now, to you that might not be a justification or a reason you like and that's okay. I mean I definitely understand where you and the original comment come from, but I just disagree on there not being a good justification (to me) for what she did. Again, especially considering that she knew he would be going through hell and back throughout his life and he was just her favorite character, I get why she'd stalk him, I would stalk my favorite characters too if I was transported into my favorite book (especially since one of my favorite characters dies in the Book series)
She is a stalker, in the first chapter she says she was stalking the writer of the novel (ok it was not a child but it was a real human and it never stopped her)
But I understand your point of view about the fact that it's just characters!
She wasn't following him in a lustful way. She was fangirling her favorite character from her favorite manhwa. It wasn't in a creepy "i want to make out with a child" kind of way but "I want to take care of him so he doesn't get led astray" kind of vibe. Like a mother who saw her child's future and wants to protect them
Exactly! Yes, this is what I wanted to say so thank you!
I know that, obviously. But her intent behind the stalking doesn’t change the fact that she was stalking the child.
Like… Just because someone breaks into a house with the intent of leaving a surprise gift doesn't mean it's not breaking and entering. I am not saying she had bad intentions. I know her intentions and what she felt. It doesn’t matter if she just thought of him as a fictional character or adored him in a motherly manner. I’m saying that irregardless of that, she was stalking the child and it wasn’t okay.
You are thinking too deeply about it. As long as it wasn't in a sexual weird way and it wasn't to hurt him either then it shouldn't matter as much. She was just being a mother
You’re not understanding me. I’m not thinking too deeply about it. I’m simply saying she was stalking him. And that’s a fact. It’s not deep at all… all the “she was thinking of him in a motherly manner” does not matter, she was still stalking him lol it’s not very complicated. This is not a debatable question. She was following him around stealthily and watching him from a distance. Was she stalking him? Yes, she was. Was it with good intentions? Sure, but still stalking. That’s all I’m saying.
Why are you insisting it was not stalking when it was .? "the act of following someone or something very closely and watching its every move" that's like the literal definition of stalking. So yes she was stalking
I'm not really arguing with you on the stalking part. It is, granted. What I'm saying is she's not doing it in a creepy perverted way. I'm saying, she's doing it as a mother. A mother stalks her child to a certain degree one way or the other. And overprotective one. The author made it clear that she didn't have a choice but to love her son that much. That's why I said don't think too much about it because it's not in a creepy way.
When did I say it wasn't stalking tho? I've been saying it wasn't in a weird, perverted way. As long as it wasn't sexual it's not a big deal
