Kazu has more depth as a character than both Sawamura and Miyuki. LMAO. Miyuki showed no remorse. NO REMORSE AT ALL. For forcing his dick in Sawamura when he was telling him to stop. And Eijun?? The only part about his "motherhood" that felt close to reality was him projecting his crushed dreams of not being a pro baseball player onto Kazu. But apart from that, wth?? It seems like even he himself didn't know he was raped when they broke up or taken advantage of that time he was drunk at the reunion party.
The kids are adorable though. I'll give it that.
o h my god!!! i didn't know it was completed here already god im crying in da club!!! i used to reread this every day back when it was still updating months ago and i got so sad when it stopped bUT FUCK IT'S REALLY COMPLETED AND THAT WAS JUST THE CUTEST, MOST SINCERE, ADORABLE WAY TO END IT
i love himari's courage and gaku's honesty :(( the way they open up to each other and aren't afraid of voicing out their concerns. best couple, tbh. my soul has been cleansed.
let's lay the good stuff down. the art is good. i fucking love how they're drawn. the characterization is clever, and if we get over the hurdle of how absolutely absurd the plot is, i'd still give it props for being well thought out.
that's it.
it wasn't too predictable but when you've read a crap ton of bl, you just kinda put two and two together. it's not particularly crazy good, but it's not too bad either. as a story. yep, that's where we draw the line.
the only thing that's making the stalker thing "cute" i guess you could call it, is the fact that the uke reciprocated his feelings, and of course, since the seme's goodlooking. but god, his entire behavior was just so predatory. if that was me, i would've fucking yeeted myself outta there. i get that he's emotionally constipated because of his past, but ksjdksjdk (i'm at a loss for words)
anyway, it's aight. it's gucci. it's fiction. it's whatevs.
I know, right?!
He realized the guy has been into his appartment without his permission when he wasn't home and the next thing you see is that they moved in together... like... wtf?!
Shouldn't he have called the cops and press charges...? ó_O
i finally decided to catch up on this. i think the last time i read this was...last year lol. i just couldn't bring myself to read it and constantly see nakyum in pain all the damn time. so since then i would just regularly look it up on twitter to see what's happening. but yesterday i went ahead and continue reading at long last.
icb that just when i got back into it, i read the raws and see that byeonduck said season 2 won't be until july 25 hahahaha i'm gonna kms
i guess that's enough time for me to save money so i can buy all the chapters on lezhin and hopefully have more for the next season. ┗( T﹏T )┛
can we all just take a moment to appreciate the art?? it's so fucking good. i've seen this on the 'popular manga' tab many times when i log in, but never got the urge to read it until now. the art is so well done, and for it alone, i'm convinced to be on the ride until the end. it's so fitting for the setting of the story, and it amplifies the characters' personalities so well. especially seungho. like, the other characters still have some semblance of emotion in their eyes, but seungho, on the other hand, can look completely insane but still have blank eyes. maybe i'm just overthinking things but that was such a good decision on the artist's part. it makes him so much more intriguing and cryptic.
one of my biggest peeves in reading anything at all, really, is being introduced to a couple and then realizing they won't be endgame. this is exactly that. i liked joowon and haesoo together but their relationship is just so toxic. i tried routing for joowon, but then haesoo ending up with him won't justify the story, like it'll fall short of what it was trying to achieve.
there are certain storylines meant for slower pacing and some others for faster pacing. i feel like this definitely would have done better if there were a few more chapters and the story was laid throughout properly but it's okay nonetheless. the plot itself is okay, made better by its own take on omegaverse where omegas are protected and have their own place in society. the art is amazing, that's for sure, and the characters have quirks to them that are quite endearing. we would have developed more attachment to them if the story wasn't crammed in 7 chapters, and the beautiful ending would have felt more fulfilling.
i literally did NOT expect that when i clicked on this. stopped after 1 page. never again.
