So Jennette knew who his father was (The King) but decided not to say anything about it, probably by hate... Hmm... Since there's changes from the plot story of Athanasia, this mysterious black hair guy probably Jennette's Real Father or somehow closely related.
Anyways, I Love how the 2 are very close. Jettie loves Athy hahaha

You're right about everything except for the king part. I'm not entirely sure which king you are speaking of, but Jennette wasn't made out of Claude's (if that's who you are mentioning as king) magic, but his brother, Anastasius, magic which states it in Chap. 23, pg 18. Which still confuses me because if Claude knew that part or at least the fact that if he never had any sexual intimacy with the damn woman in the first place, why did he fall for Jennette in the original story? Which makes me think that behind the scenes of the book (if we are thinking in real life terms), Anastasius/black hair guy would have casted some sort of magic or something to make Claude bond with Jennette.

No, I didn't mean it in a romantical sense. Just of a fatherly/daughter kind of way. I don't know what the original story was entirely about except what we learn from beginning chapters of the story. When I said "why did he fall for Jennette in the original story," I meant why did he, not only take in, but started to care for a child that (if possible) he knew wasn't his in the first place? Yes, it may have been a interesting proposition to learn he has another daughter from a woman he may have not even had sex with considering she was aiming for his brother the entire time and clearly had more intimacy with that man.
Okay wait since Shuli is the stepmother... The eldest child hated the Nora guy. And he's around his age, he'll be shocked if Nora will be his father lol in the near future.
