I'm not sure of it because it's just my guess (while looking at the looks of the characters involved and at that particular chapter) since I've never checked. In Light & Shadow there's a chapter with a flashback (I suppose) in which Eli and his servant (silver hair) are going to battle. With them there's a woman with brown hair and green eyes that seemed intimate (like a wife or a lover) with Eli and since the war was near Eli made her with I think their baby (maybe she was pregnant too but I don't remember) and her servant escape safely from the conflict. I haven't started Golden time but I saw some images of it and the main character is similar to that woman from the flashback and has Eli's eyes so I linked these two things, if it's true what I'm guessing I would like to know why it seems from what I know that Eli never tried to find his family (wife/lover + one/two daughters) after everything calmed down. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Hey, i also wanted to ask the same question since I don't remember reading it and made me feel restless. The flashback you are talking about isn't lei, its his ancestor that fled.
That is why you read the 1st story first so you don't get confused and make assumptions lol. @shironekohime is right, that was Eli's ancestors. He actually died right after that scene, the war for the throne with Edna's ancestors. It is actually a turn off that your comment is in the top of the page ╮(￣▽￣)╭ i guess congrats? I totally agree with all the comments but I'm confused about something... Why also the princess was imprisoned? She was innocent and the Childe family wanted to frame just Linden's mother so this thing doesn't make any sense. Also why the two of them committed suicide after I think not so long? Because maybe after some time the emperor could have found a way to free them (at least the princess) and if not him probably Linden when he becomes emperor ╮(￣▽￣)╭Σ( ￣□￣||)
