This is great, highly enjoying the story and character growths. I’m glad the story doesn’t progress slowly which is a common occurrence.

And right when I was sad the old characters weren’t showing up anymore, they do a short cameo of them like Physician Bong or In Cho. Tho we haven’t seen the brother at all since he got into the military

I was kinda excited when she up and left the duchy but once she got to the academy it was disappointing. Her maid nags her a lot and it’s a little annoying that we don’t see any of this ‘prestigious school’. I feel like if I had formed and built this school from 5 kids and the love to teach them, I’d be utterly disappointed to find years later that it’s full of nobles and bullying and rather focuses on the noble experience by hosting an opening ceremony ball of all things.

I'm confused, everything moved so fast and many characters were introduced which didnt help. The first few chapters already has a lot of SA towards women and sexist remarks so if youre sensitive to that dont read.

I hope the prince gets a happy ending as well. Im surprised we didnt have much of Ariel's family life to see, it seems like her dad doesnt care for her at all. Especially when she got kidnapped and her mother died.
