Well, I don't see why that would be a good idea, considering that Astra lady (the noblewoman) said exactly what Bella (our MC) would be used for. A substitute for beatings. Why would Kiris sent Bella there knowing that she'd be mercilessly beaten?

I agree, but I also believe on top of that it was because he might’ve started to have feelings for her and he couldn’t deal with them.

That's not a good excuse, though. But even though he may not have been in his right mind at the time, he hasn't shown any real remorse for sending Bella to Astra's place.

Huh? They wouldn't care if she was a boy or girl. He would have known that. He ruined her more by sending her there. If he didn't want to ruin her he should have known self sacrifice works much better than forcing someone else to follow your selfish AF wishes, too, after all. Plus he never told her that he was sending her as a maid. It makes no sense for him NOT to tell her if he made a deal to make her a maid. He was pretty cruel when he sent her off too as if she shouldn't be feeling betrayed, again even though he never told her anything. The noble lady who bought Bella states that she wants to buy a ‘beauty boy’, a trend that took off to whip and punish boys. He knew exactly what he was doing when he sent her to that place. His intention for doing so? Not really clear, but he regrets it now which doesn’t make it any less forgivable. And I agree with sachiko, he makes rash decisions, acting like he’s wise and powerful but no, you’re ruling purely by fear.
