I get you, there is that one BL, it’s Omega verse and it’s about a dude with debts and a loan shark I believe and I absolutely HATE this manhwa. It’s shit (in my humble opinion) but people act like it’s a masterpiece because there is a “redemption arc” for the rapist. Whatever that means.   2 reply

It’s not lol, I’ve read plenty of sl and gl and bl are not necessarily better. There is a LOT of crap in bl, like a lot, but in like every genre there are gems, with great stories, great developments, great characters, great chemistry and interactions. I read more shonen (even seinen) sports, fighting mangas but there are amazing sl out there,......   reply

While you all here can you gimme your best GL please, I like fresh art like tamen ? Not too much sex pls cause tired of GL focused on sex. Personally I read more shonen than anything else but I love a good shoujo, and a good BL, but it all depends on the characters, story and interactions !   2 reply

It was bullshit and honestly it seemed like a troll, but the amount of stupid answers I saw....you can disagree and coherently, intelligently, formulate the reason WHY, you disagree.

For me it’s easy :
- sex is sex, a good story is a good story. And women are allowed to read good shits
- targeting WOMEN, to get your point across, is dumb—there is a problem with a lot of yaoi, a lot of mangas in general, targeting women as a whole is stupid and sterile
- it all depends on how the reader approaches the story, and not all readers are fetishizing bastards
- I don’t mind straight men reading GL, or watching wlw movies, and books and so on
