Why do some of you like taesan ?
Apart from the fact that he is the victim, he is not a fleshed out character, he really is just there to be a victim and it’s sad but it doesn’t make him an interesting character, and I don’t think he is supposed to be.
That said the victim blaming going on in the comments is insane but I think it just shows how easily readers can be swayed when they’re reading from a character’s POV instead of having different perspectives…

The art is so fresh and pretty, I love it, the characters seem great but I’m not into the main “couple”, grey haired dude just seems disgusted or put off any time he is in the vicinity of the other dude. And since the latter is crushing hard, having wet dreams and all, it makes it even “harder” to read this, in my humble opinion
So let me get this straight : MC was about to start studying in an excellent university, it would have been the beginning of something new, but he is going to give that up because a dude says its a shit university and he won’t ever find a job ? So of course the logical solution is to become this dude’s personal prostitute ?

I love Han Maru, he is a bit OP (but still has his weaknesses), his powers are mysterious (love that shonen kind of vibe), but he is also very fun, endearing, and just a great MC.
All the characters are great, and their dynamics are well written makes me think of a found family story.
Anyways if someone has recommendations for me I’m all in ? (Personally although quite different, I recommend the return of the blossoming blade and the SSS class that I raised)

Not that I will give up the manhwa, I absolutely love it but kinda want to give the novel a shot
so fucking good, after 100 chapters I let it marinate and coming back to binge read the last 50 chapters reminded me how great this manhwa is, and it just keeps getting better and better. I’m so attached to all the characters, to their dynamic, and Chung Myung is such a perfect MC, I adore him.
Anyways, it’s going to be hard but I’ll try to let it marinate a bit again…
Im rooting so hard for Sooyoung, I stopped reading this for awhile cause Jihwae made me so uncomfortable and I thought this would be like a typical BL, but oh my god the way the author is writing this story makes me believe (hope) Sooyoung will manage to free himself from it all.
I’m so glad he walked away from this psycho, he may be a product of his environment but he stopped being a victim when he started hurting others.
For now I’m hooked, I hope there won’t be a redemption arc, Jihwae deserves a “therapy arc” (and JAIL), he didn’t do the one thing that repulse me the most which is sexual assault so I can still see him growing as a character but not alongside Sooyoung ¿
