I still cant believe how easily they trusted them beastmen. I knew they were suspicious from the start and yet they went ahead and give them money and follow blindly to them. I get that they were desperate for the fruit but like be smarter than that. Its rare for a reason. No one would have it in stock without already being sold or reserved by VIP people.
And here I thought she already knew why Duchess Salvatore wanted to adopt Leslie so bad, especially since Marquis Sperado had personally come for her to open the trial. I mean, I can only assume but isn’t the reason why she tryna marry that prince to Leslie’s bratty sister because she at least know that the Sperado family is related to/known to have the power of darkness? Wouldn’t it right for her to assume one of the Sperado kids had that power? I wish he would stay at the capital to form a relationship/bond with his niece. To understand the pain of the other, that someone have to have the same experience. Leslie’s need for revenge might be calmed if she would talk with her uncle and how he manage to survive the same thoughts as she might have had. They share the same experience from the family they were born into, and i think it would be a really good healing process for the both of them.
Even if he doesnt stay, I wish he would visit her often bringing his wife and maybe children to introduce to Leslie.

Everyone hates how Ibelina left him but I think it was the right choice tbh. Back in the old days, you cant be a lover of a Lord, especially with a high status like Alejandro has when you are just a maid. While Alejandro doesnt care about rumors spreading about him, it still a cause of concern.
Rumors aside, everyone will be suspicious why Alejandro is with a maid, thus they would think that maybe Ibelina was the one who cured Alejandro’s curse (which Ibelina didnt want to be known). If that got out, Ibelina would be in danger not just to other Lords but by the royal family itself who would most likely use/experiment on her.
I think its a safe choice FOR NOW to leave. As much as I dont want her to, it was for the best to make her safe and away from the influence of the nobles. Who knows when she comes back, and she sees how Alejandro still loves her and not that foreign princess, then maybe it could work.
