I thought this story would be closely similar to the Empress of Another World. The MC in this story was perceived as intelligent and had a top-notched customer service skills. Handling difficult situation should be a piece of cake for her The MC on the other story was but a high school student, smart and sly. Their situation where they get transported into a different world was the same however the MC to the Empress of Another World had had it worse with trying to fight the Empress Dowager, nearly get raped by previous Emperor, almost always getting killed by the girls in the harem. The MC in this story literally climbed the food chain at the very top with no hardship whatsoever.
And yet she wanted to leave so much.
Yes, i understand that she might be scared from the situation. Yes it might be a flight-or-fight response. But she literally had enough time to think things through rather than being stupid again and run away without a plan. Every MC for isekai stories had at the very least a plan on when to leave, how to live the world, where to get money to live their escaped life. The MC in this story was nearly killed by a fucking bear and she ran anyway at the woods.
Now believe me i understand flight-or-fight response but even i would not want to go out into the woods. Im traumatized enough for the bear and the Emperor looking insane after killing it. Id rather hide in my room and never let anyone come. After calming down, then think of how to gtfo.
Im a lil disappointed with the MC in this story. Like girl, the only bad thing that happened to you right now is the bear. All the other MC who got transported in a different world had had it worse from the very beginning and they learn how to cope up with it. Most of them are high school students and your a grown ass woman. I know im likely to get hates on this but the sooner you accept you’re in a different world, the better it is for you to plan your move

THANK YOU! SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT! I dropped this some chapters back because I couldn't honestly stand the MC. I thought it was only me since I never saw comments talking about her or anything, so I simply let it go. I'm glad someone else agrees, she's simply too much and it irks me that she's a GROWN ASS WOMAN INDEED when most isekai protagonists are barely in their teens and yet her common sense is really off.

And yet the drama just kept trying to push me away. Cain disappoints me most. Yes, its good to stand on your morals about who to respect and who dont deserve it but she was the duke’s wife. Even if its for political reasons. There is no need for him to watch in the sidelines and ignore the rumors circulating around the duchess that cause her to shrink even further.
The duke cant help but be more ‘in love’ with the new Chloe because she was ‘new’ to him. He was curious. She didnt struck him as someone outgoing before and since it was a political marriage, he ignored her, more focused on his work rather than seeing the old Chloe for who she is. Im not making excuses for the duke but you cant really blame him. He doesnt care about anything in the past but just his work and yes, its inexcusable how he neglects his wife but thats how he is even when the old Chloe was still alive and before they marry.
The workers in the mansion, im already disappointed long time ago because of their behavior. They at least should show remorse and guilt after treating old Chloe the way they treated her but i guess it was still too early for them to do so. Again, im not trying to defend them, but they have never seen any ‘change’ in old Chloe before. So they are all skeptical about her change ‘now’. So, the mansion is split in two: those who received her kindness and seen how she ‘changed’ and now is starting to believe in her and those who dont truly believe it and outright slander Chloe still.
Still, man, i cant express enough how disappointed i am with Cain. I think the only person who showed promise is the maid cook that got blamed by old Chloe before. Rather than continuing her hatred towards Chloe after she got blamed for no reason, she saw her ‘change’ and accepted it as it is. She may not be able to forgive her right at this moment but she acknowledge the fact that the duchess changed. And that alone is worthy of respect for me.
Cain may still redeem himself later on but i cant forgive him at this point. Its okay to doubt the duchess but to ignore her before was inexcusable. Old Chloe could have change if only one person was able to show her how to.
Its time for some genius science discussions ladies. Watch and fucking learn what the true ‘Art of Conversation’ is, Iris! Get that Physics shit going!
While her attitude towards or FL was inexcusable these past few chapters, we cannot really hate her now especially in this chapter. She, like every girl in this story, was raised to be poised, graceful, ‘flowers’, to obey men etc. At the very least, she didnt act stupid when her handkerchief was not chosen and chose to leave peacefully. She didnt harbor hatred to FL but rather worry about what others think of her now that she ‘failed’ to get the princess’ attention.
Rather acting haughty when she was cornered with those drunk guys, the teachings she was taught since child held her down and she was unable to defend herself in her vulnerability. At this point, you got to give her credit now. She wasnt a villainess. The words of her teachers (or probably even her own parents: likely her dad) was so strong that it hinders her to stand up on her own and not think of her own self. She probably dont even want to get married (cuz she mentioned she didnt really love the Duke anyway, just a good potential husband for her) but had no other way to escape the expectation of the society other than get a good man and get married.
At this point, i just felt sorry for how she was raised. Any girl for that point and our FL felt the same imo. She was raised the same by her greedy father, used by both her greedy ex fiancee and cousin. Hopefully this starts a good relationship with the two girls and maybe Julia had an aptitude for summoning and our FL will teach her to be more independent and be the kind of woman to not need a man (or jump into marriage when you dont want to) and wait for that one guy who would love her and she the same to him.
Anyway, sorry for the long rant
I really dont know why she’s surprised like he is the captain of the guards for her family. The family known second to the Royal Family. The family known to be so scary everyone shits their pants when they anger even her brother! I think i could expect Emiel to be like that so idk why she’s being all scared with him.

For some reason I feel like these types of issues last longer, especially if the FL is someone naive. Also because she had this whole image of what she thought Emiel was like it's going to make it hard for her to accept this side of him. She might start having thoughts like, who is this person, Emiel has a side I don't know about, this side of Emiel is like a complete stranger. Estelle might even start to avoid him unconsciously out of fear and that might make Emiel feel like " she's scared of me, she fears me now" and it is clearly going to break Emiel, like everyone here knows how much Emiel cares for our lady HOW much he adores her, and just by seeing the fear in her eyes, her flinching and avoiding him, it is obviously going to shatter him, and when he saw her watching this side of him she didn't know, Emiel had the look of ' his whole world crumbling to pieces'. Damn Emiel has been through sooo much stuff, and I'm just so pissed that Estelle reacted like that. She has been living in a household that everyone fears for a certain reason, obviously because they possess a deadly amount of power and the power to destroy anything if pissed off. So if you are living with a family like that, the guards and knights will have a killing/war side to them, like sis with a family like yours it is to be expected that everyone around may have a similar side to your father and brother's killing intent. Sigh, please author fix this, I'm tired of seeing Emiel be on guard at all times not because it's his job but because he doesn't want to experience that feeling of losing the lady ever again.
Ik Estelle will always be our precious one but i feel like the author did this so that Estelle could start experiencing feelings for Emiel and so it gradually builds their relationship to a deeper level. BUT LIKE..... WHY THEY GOTTA CHANGE HER accepting others to acting like a brat no offence. Like yeah there is a reason as to why the author did that but likeeeeeee this is just hurting Emiel. TBH there would have been many other ways to develop their relationship and I feel like they rushed it and it is so out of place. The time skip, should have been used if Estelle started to learn more about her family history, everyone around her and her growth, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. But instead they used the time skip so that they could start the relationship development because she is at a legal age of considering marriage, falling in love and all that stuff. They rushed her to being a adult because all the lovey stuff can be added since she is older but if she had still been 11-12 everyone would obviously be UGH about a grown man making the moves onto a young girl. The author could have developed Estelle alot and slowly allow Estelle to grow feelings for Emiel and mature. But they didn't and now there is going to be so much misunderstandings. Also I feel like they might rush the development and have Estelle be like I'm scared of you, then when Emiel saves her or something and says don't ever disappear like that and then Estelle is like I won't, then later on they are both like I love you. LIKE YOU BETTER NOT RUSH IT AND JUST PUT AN ENDING TOGETHER JUST LIKE THE ABOVE. Because I have seen this done so many times to these type of mangas.

Estelle's character to someone completely opposite from how she was when she younger. Like yeah, I feel like the author might switch her back to being the 'i accept you no matter what' and then they start dadfafdadadadada.
Right?!?!? I hurt myself at how much I can look into a problem and picture the outcome. But it seriously feels like this manga might take that route. The routes they might use are:
Estelle starts avoiding him but the guards get involved and the dad and they talk about Emiel's background and his childhood and then our FL is like omg I hurt Emiel and stuff. She then runs to Emiel, apologizes and then Emiel talks deeper into his life. She accepts him and starts growing feelings.
Estelle gets hurt or goes missing or something and Emiel saves her, it's still awkward between them but Emiel opens up to Estelle and is like I don't want to lose you ever again or something similar, Estelle then hugs him and apologizes and then they go BADUMP BUMP my heart when BADUMP BUMP.
They might have Emiel step up in this and finally have the chance to tell us more about who Emiel is, where, what, when and how. All those questions. And it's going to be about Emiel watching the growth or Estelle and all that stuff and then realizing he fell in love with her or something crazy and yeah.
Like I can think of SOOOO many ways of how this manga will turn out BUT I'm hoping that it does become better and that they don't rush it. Sigh, I need to sleep RN lol

I really hate when they do a "now I'm an adult" time skip, but it's very rushed and the characters still act like children. I hate that. I really hope for this story to get better I think it deserves at least that you know. (=・ω・=)
