Idk, somewhere along the lines this website started leaning towards yaoi. There are guys on this site, though, as well as non-yaoi readers and even yaoi-haters.

1, there are at least a few male people in this site maybe they just say it because gender doesnt matter to liking stuff. Also yaoi is more popular no matter how crigy and edgy some are people do read it. I personally only read yaoi because i dont like seeing girls parts nor do i like the drama from that genre.

i dont like any gxb gxg stuff. I respect people who do i just dont like it. Plus ive been scarred any time i try to expand my horrizons so i stay with yaoi

i think it's because most readers here read yaoi specifically, hence more of aforementioned genre gets featured on the site.. also therefore more female readers

The users that come to Mangago now rather than before come to to read yaoi webcomics that are extremely popular on their original sites (L*zhin or T*pas for example) but can't pay for. It was probably different before because the there wasn't an abundance of the genre like there is today.

It's cause this site has a huge yaoi fanbase and most dudes only read shounen and seinen. I personally like this site because I see fewer people being openly bigoted towards POC, queer people, women, and disabled people. A lot of other guys, especially cishet white guys, don't care about nearly as much because if something doesn't affect them they don't care. Mangadex has some pretty disgusting comment sections if you want to read anything about trans characters. I think a lot of other guys don't really notice or give a shit so they tend to use sites like that.

Bruh who said there aren't any guys? Also, this is the only site that provides many yaoi translations so ofc yaoi would be on top if you hate it, there's the back door.
