I can't agree more. I mean i know the main characters are all the same. But without the actual bl and the scenes where u can actually see WWCand LWJ fall for each others. It somehow made their characters lack the depth that thay had in the book.
In the book a main focus is how much wwc's death made lwj suffer. He pinned on him for 16 years and u can see why. Cause it's very obvious he worshiped the dude he was sooo captivated by him. And he had regrets of not protecting and saving him.
Even the drama had more "bromance". The dunghua didn't dive that deep and skimmed over some arcs that made the book the masterpiece that it is.
I think to me. The novel and the audio drama were my favorite adaptations. Then the untamed then last the donghua

I mean.... am i the only one who doesn't 100% hate the professor. I mean the MC is being kind of a dick to him. He raised him ffs. That gotta count for something. Just cause he told u to go to the bd party doesnt mean he wants u to DIE. i mean the professor went in with u, and there were ppl there.
And even if he tried to save his ass. That's pretty normal he doesn't owe u anything. In fact ur the one who owes him everything u have. The mc sudden hate for him is soooo out of place. It feel lile the author is trying to demonize the professor. Just my thoughts though

MC and her husband ( the grey hair guy not the white ones ) has a child but the ML force her to kill the child using MC husband life to threaten her ;-; . Sometime later the ML makes the MC pregnant and MC really want to kill ML baby but her husband stopped her saying that he and MC are not the kind person to kill a child life and so they decided to keep the child and brought him/her up
. But yeah in the end he dies and she gets back to her husband. I really disliked this novel. Cause why is he even the ml if she's gonna end up with her husband anyways. And he was such a big asshole to her too. HE MADE HER KILL HER SON wtf was that about. The ending was literally the worst I've ever read in my life.
It's one of those stories with one misunderstanding after the other. The MC he is kinda weak and dumb (although he's growing some balls lately) but very likable.
The ml though... He pisses me off affff. He keeps on making assumptions and punishing the poor mc. And he wont even let him explain. (MC IS a mute but somehow everyone understands him perfectly. He's only a mute without communication abilities when there's a misunderstanding. Ughh it pisses me off. The art is *chef kiss* though . Probably the main reason i didn't drop this.
